Summer Outreach - M.A.D.D. Camp In Session

Every Summer IGC hosts M.A.D.D. Camp (a FREE Music, Arts, Dance and Drama Institute for local children.)  The finale recital was Friday Night  - and it was WONDERFUL! Check out the slide show below! 

Advent begings with Hanging of the Greens!

We began the celebration of ADVENT today - that's where we get ready for Christ's appearing by anticipating the Christmas Season. Todays' theme: HOPE! Specifically, the HOPE that the prophets gave the people walking in darkness more than 600 years before Jesus came in the flesh. Bishop LaDonna gave us a report on the recent ministry to TOGO, West Africa (go to our website - http://www.igcenter.org to hear her message.)
Everyone who attended service today participated in decorating the sanctuary - the children's part was to handle the Christmas Tree.


Our YOUTH CHOIR sung about the HOPE promised to the SEED of ABRAHAM! Click the arrow below their picture to listen to a little bit of their joyous singing!

We also prayed for this weeks' Missions Teams (Rev. Donald O'Dell headed to Ecuador & our South Dakota Group headed to the Pine Ridge Reservation)

Let the Little Children Come . . .

When Jesus' disciples suggested that He ignore children (Matthew 19) Jesus made sure they knew that he had would always have plenty of time for children! Millions of people around the world have commented on the many ways that our spiritual father, Dr. T.L. Osborn, is Christ-like. And his love for the children at IGC is no exception. Every Sunday you can see him taking time to fellowship with our children - impressing them with God's love and their potential for greatnes! MADD Camp Finale

Oohs & Aahs were abundant as we concluded our week-long M.A.D.D. camp (Music, Arts, Dance and Drama Camp. The kids showed off their talents, gifts and love for the Lord!

Summer Youth (M.A.D.D.) Camp Underway!

Our annual summer arts camp (MADD Camp = Music, Arts, Dance & Drama) began Monday night with a bang! Lots of children from the Greater Tulsa Community gathered to have fun, SCREAM about Jesus' love and be tutored in the fine arts. After a week of instruction they will host a recital on Friday Night (July 24)!

Dr. T.L. Osborn and Bishop LaDonna Care About Children

The children of IGC are continually exposed to the message of Christ which is for ALL people. They are learning about Jesus and His MISSION. Bishop LaDonna taught them that "MISSION is telling people about Jesus." This is the great mission that Jesus gave to all of His followers. Even children can tell their friends about Jesus.

Dr. T.L. and Bishop took the children and youth on a "Missions Field Trip," to the international headquarters offices of the Osborn Ministries International. They learn about the early years of the ministry and the Osborn family. They were happy to see that their bishop had been involved in ministry from childhood. Their eyes stared as they saw the photos of lepers healed by the power of God.

It's never too early to teach children that each life is valuable to God - both those needing Jesus, and those who tell them about the great love of God. This is the Jesus-life at its best - TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT JESUS.
